kW, kWp and kWh
kW is power at a point in time. kWp is the rated peak capacity of a solar array under test conditions. kWh is a quantity of energy generated, stored or consumed over time.

Self-consumption and export
Self-consumption is the share of generated electricity used on site. Export is electricity sent to the public network.

DNO and MPAN
The distribution network operator runs the local electricity network. An MPAN identifies an electricity supply point and can be needed for grid or export processes.
